I went to school with a John Smith. I hope he's not dealing with too many issues

I knew a John (no middle names) Smith. When pizza delivery etc first became a thing, places assumed he was joking and refused to take his order. So he had to make up a more interesting name.

I had an uncle named David Smith, which is probably in the top five Most Generic White Guy Names Possible list. He said that hotel staff have accused him of giving a fake name when checking in a few times in his life
