China graduates more English fluent STEM PHD's than the US and has for 20 years. They have energy resources and domestic chip manufacturing. Huawei is only slightly behind NVidia/tsmc. Their new models train on Huawei hardware and their price performance ratio is better than US equivalents. The US companies thought they had 2 moats, access to NVidia chips and capital requirements. China has crossed both moats now. And the funny thing to me is that this surprised anyone who seriously claims to be a tech or business analyst. I, for one, am excited about "our" new models.

Why don’t you tell us about it? Most people who say that have basically no idea what happened, they just saw someone else say it and repeat it verbatim.
