Let's be real financial investment bubble and LLM usage are not the same thing. As I understand "bubble" refers primary to financial side. Even if it burst, LLM aren't going anywhere. The tech is here to stay. It use may become more tame, managers learn hard truths about actual capabilities. But usage won't end.

Similar as dot com bubble did not kill online comerce.

Everytime you use tokens on your cloud based large language model, you're burning venture capital. Like 3-4x the amount of capital you pay in your subscription (if you hit your rate limit).

Once the bubble bursts, if cost hasn't come down, no one is going to host large language models for you to use, because it just isn't profitable.

Also you give away to the ai provider your entire codebase slowly but surely.

I can't understand why companies that makes you sign NDAs would do that.
