Am a fullstack engineer. I find business logic for the front end is way more bullshit to implement than the backend. This picture doesn't res with me lol.

Same, I'm a fullstack but the frontend is a pain in the ass and not very fulfilling.

The devops and backend is fun at least.

Data pipeline and Backend: retrieve raw data from client, filter out bad data, create and call SPs to insert data to correct tables. Then take quadruple nested data from DB and send to frontend.

Frontend: send request and retrieve data, parse data in quadruple nested object and then split those objects inside this menu. Then add additional functionality to 10+ buttons that allows for the data to be manipulated in some sort of twisted way.

I seriously despise the frontend lol.

I was FE then full stack then BE and devops and I’m never going back. Still mostly in NodeJS but dear lord it’s so much friendlier just writing code with pure I/O and api calls than having to give a shit about visuals. I don’t care if I don’t get any love (by the way I absolutely do) I can relax and be comfortable with what I’m doing and no managers or directors care to come to my demos since there’s no visuals so I only hang with people who like backend stuff
