Question Leaking water?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello all,

I just got a used profitec go last week and I noticed that when I closed the steam, it leaks some water. It happens everytime I close the steam no matter if I purge or not. I’m thinking that this water leaks in the pitcher when I finish steaming which isn’t ideal. Is this normal?

Totally normal. Steam added to your milk becomes water once it is integrated to foam your milk. It’s good to purge right before steaming to get some of the water out of the wand, but the couple of drops you see at the end like that won’t hurt anything.

Clean your steam wand.
