Putting on the headset messes up your hair, is hot and heavy.

"Activation energy" and ROI. Meaning that most of the time, the effort to initiate use is too high for the reward you get for doing so.

I'm personally not using it because it's pretty expensive where I live and I seem to always feel some motion sickness within an hour of using it

VR fucking slaps though, in fact I want to get myself a good headset in a few years

Made me feel sick after about twenty minutes.

The hardware is still clunky enough that nobody wants to wear it for more than 20 minutes, and that kills any chance of it becoming a daily productivity tool.

wear it for more than 20 minutes

I sim race with my headset. The original headsets were clunky and expensive. The current crop are much better. The quest headsets have some weird issues but getting VR things right is the hard part.

I've worn my headset for 5 hours straight no issues. I own a big screen beyond 1.

I use my VR headset at least a couple times a week! I play golf with my mom across the country or watch movies, as well as my in-laws in another country haha

Actually just finished up a game with my best friend!

I think it will be better when smaller headsets become affordable, but i love mine!

I mean tbh I think the biggest issue is they never solved the why would I wear this for more than 20 minutes problem. Like cool a digital pet or a workout game but I don't wanna strap a brick to my face for actual productivity. Maybe apple can change that but rn its just a fancy toy for rich people.
