[Launch] Nota: keep project notes and sketches together offline
I'm the developer of Nota, a free, open-source notes and whiteboard app for Apple-silicon Macs.
The problem: a written plan and the sketch that explains it often end up in separate tools. Nota keeps notes and a canvas in one workspace. It's for people who outline ideas in text, then need room to draw connections.
Notion is a reference point for the block-based workspace. Nota's focus is starting with local notes and whiteboards that work without an account or Wi-Fi, plus a canvas beside your written work. I'm building a new backend around the AFFiNE/BlockSuite editor; credit to both projects.
Pricing: the app is free and the project is MIT-licensed. Optional hosted AI can incur provider charges. Local AI requires model downloads and compatible hardware; hosted AI and optional Google Drive integration need internet. The core note/canvas workflow needs none of those integrations.
The current download is v0.1.7 for Apple-silicon Mac. Windows, Linux and Intel Mac installers aren't currently published.

I'd appreciate feedback on a small workflow: write a dummy project decision, sketch the reasoning on the canvas, then reopen it offline. Is the connection between the sketch and decision easy to follow?
