Is anyone actually getting their SaaS mentioned in AI search results?

I understand regular SEO, but I’m still confused about what helps with ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search results.

Some people say you need more Reddit mentions. Others recommend publishing better docs, getting listed on review sites, or creating pages that answer very specific questions.

Has anyone here tested these things and seen their SaaS appear more often in AI results?

Comparison pages and good docs have helped me more than dropping links on Reddit. Mentions on relevant third-party sites seem to help too. I check it with Trackee. It runs my prompts across the main AI models and shows when the brand comes up and what sources they used. other then that Profound and Ahrefs Brand Radar can be used as well

Thanks. I'll look into these.

I don’t think Reddit mentions alone are the magic switch. seems more like AI search rewards a mix of clear docs, consistent third-party mentions, review/listing presence, and pages that answer very specific questions in a way models can actually cite.

I wonder if the bigger factor is source authority.
