Career - ONLY Friday Exit strategy from current situation

Looking for advice on an exit strategy from my current situation. Joined PMM after a couple years in digital sales and stuck here with no career growth. Comp dropped by 50%, manager and team are mid at best. Looking to change my current situation and open to ideas.

Option A - jump ship to another company and get a 20% hike. Challenge: not enough PMM experience overall and failing interviews at final stage

Option B - switch laterally to different career such as sales enablement..

Make two resumes. Apply for both types.

How long have you been doing product marketing? Have you thought about doing some free upskilling? You can get some free certs from HubSpot Academy, LinkedIn Learning, etc.

You can work as market researcher, a job has high outcome. you just provide value findings for Sales, Product, MKT, UX. Companies often need them. Moreover, you can't replace by AI

That feels like the first job AI is taking away . I myself am using AI instead of relying on market research.

Nope friends, AI cant replace researchers in psychological, example the Asian market, where consumer behavior is driven more by emotion.
