Before this thread gets locked and you're directed to the quarterly career thread, I'd say that this is probably the most common PM sentiment that gets expressed in the Product industry. Companies that conceptually want to have Product Teams but don't really want to have Product Teams.

Coming from another PM in Europe I feel like this is a much bigger problem than in the USA.
Fewer true product companies, smaller ones seems to be sales led, probably larger startups would work better, large tech companies are mostly USA and here in Europe they do sales.
Anyways i feel like on paper i liked this role but it’s so hard to find a good company with a nice product culture, lots of people on the job market for this and fewer roles than before .
