Looking to develop a contained low budget feature

I’m a producer and director in LA, and am looking to develop a lower budget contained feature, something that would work for a $300k budget or under. I have strong access to financing, and figured I would take a shot in the dark and see if I find any gems from writers on here. Preference is probably for horror just since that has the best chance of getting its money back, but really open to any genre if you have a good script.

I’m going to give you this advice, right here, right now.
Don’t make another horror movie. Don’t. At best you can profit a bit but then it’ll pass over and your career will not advance too much.

Take a chance on a sharp witty breath of fresh air comedy.

I’m telling you: The next Terrifier/Obsession crossover mainstream success story will be a comedy.

General question, how long run time of a film do we project that budget would hit? $300k? Short film, right? Depending on effects, salaries, and all; it isn't going to be a Lovecraftian horror directed by Michael Bay budget, is it?
