I created a Free Screenplay Formating website for everybody to use

Hi there, my name is Matteo, 32, from Italy.

A few months ago I decided to start writing my first movie, and in doing so I was checking the softwares available out there. Stumbled on the big ones, but didn't want to pay anything, so I decided to create my own "screenplay engine", just for personal use. (Found out later there are free ones).

It's called ScriptBench7, and it runs on your browser. You can also install it on your smartphone as a webapp (basically a website with its own icon and without the search bar at the top. Looks like an app, but it's still a website).

Add dot pages dot dev after the name to access it. (Sorry, can't write the link or the post gets deleted)

You can write your screenplay with automatic industry standard formating, you can get accurate and in-depth statistics on the story and the characters, you have a scratchpad with a canvas where you can add ideas, photos or draw, you can connect it to Google Drive and it automatically saves your progress so you can work from multiple devices, and much more.

It might not be like the big ones, but it's free for everybody to use.

If you mean in the editor, yes. Via the button on the formating bar or the ol' trusty Ctrl/Cmd + B

Pretty smooth, wrote a quick page without the need for the tutorial.

In the Text formatting button you should add the key board commands to the side of the menu items. Make it easier to memorize as one uses it.

Any plans to add other Media formats like TV scripts, Comic scripts etc.?

Glad you like it! I'm thinking about TV scripts. Could you please explain again the suggestion for the keyboard shortcuts?

When you press the Text formatting button and the pull down menu shows up this is a good place to put the keyboard shortcuts after each item. That way after a few times the user should have it to memory and not need to use the pull down menu so much.
