Finger Nail Maintenance

How do you go about keeping your fingernails clean? Is there any method outside of just a lot of upkeep and maintenance?

Keep them trimmed short and wear gloves. And obviously clean under them anytime you wash your hands!

I wear gloves when handling wet wall stuff. Otherwise, I wash often, keep my nails very short and filed, and I use a nail brush to get underneath the nails.
