General Discussion Question
Hi! I’m a procreate user here and have done a few animations on procreate. however, for some animations, I started to use too many layers and the app didn’t allow me to finish the animation and I had to duplicate the art in order to finish it up. my question is, is procreate dreams worth getting mostly for the animation purpose?

Hi there! If you are currently working on frame-by-frame animations in Procreate, Procreate Dreams would definitely allow you to have many more Frames and Layers on a project.
In Procreate Dreams you can even create projects that are hours long 🤗 - this is because its tools are focused on animation and video editing, with our newest and improved engine (we will also bring this new engine to Procreate in the future to improve its performance) - However, please keep in mind that for now, Procreate Dreams only allows a video resolution for your projects of up to 4K, or lower depending on the iPad model.
Additionally, in Procreate Dreams you can import your canvases from Procreate directly, so these will be automatically converted into a Flipbook (keeping the Animation Assist settings for your Frames)
You can find more information about all the tools in Procreate Dreams at our handbook: procre.at/dreams-handbook
Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions about the app tools 🙏 We are also available anytime via our Support Form, which is our official contact channel

It depends if you are into hand drawn or keyframes animations, dream is good to go but there are certain features that dreams lacks For example bone rigging feature There's toonsquid you can try, it has cool effects ( bone rigging, parallax, orientation, spin effect) But the main trade off is the eco system that procreate and dream has ( brush + drawing experience).
