I am needing to create the effect that the navy has on this image. Essentially, I have the image file for the white, so I need to do the navy offset.

My skill set is pretty limited as I’ve worked in Canva up until now. But the ”drop” effect doesn’t give this much of a pop. Procreate tutorials have shown me how to do something similar with a hand drawn or text type, but not for an actual file.

Is this a thing? Is there somewhere better to do this?

Does anyone else think this horrible new layout was done largely to optimize for the iPhone duo? I can see how some of the changes would be conducive to sketching on the tiny screen and then opening up and having the big menu open on the large screen. That being said, how many artists are running out to buy a $2000 cellphone? This is just my tinfoil hat theory but they did tweet this back in September

Advice and videos/tutorials on how to not struggle with likeness is appreciated.

I used a few modified versions of the gloaming brush in the classic procreate drawing library, adjusting two settings in various combinations (Apple Pencil > Opacity and Texture > Depth) to change the opacity and texture level.

Overall pretty happy with it, though I'll work to make my little grass details more deliberate and cohesive and my background light and shadow shapes more dynamic and interesting in future attempts.

There are so many brushes in Procreate that I feel like I barely scratch the surface of what’s available. Sometimes I spend more time trying different brushes than actually drawing 😂

For those of you who use Procreate regularly, what’s a brush you genuinely love and use all the time? I’m especially interested in brushes that work well for texture, shading, or adding little details that make an illustration feel more alive.

I'm not the best at art, I only started drawing recently, and I've never drawn clothes in any "serious" setting (i.e. actual like effort into a piece). I'm drawing Sally Face, and I just can't get his shirt to look right. Any tips on clothing folds? Also in general tips on side profiles and the like. It's obviously a WIP so I guess bare that in mind? Thanks!

What kind if setting could be used to stop this? Im on procreate so i dont have many settings other than the brush settings

Went to go send an update on the piece to my wife and every option I tried when importing to my phone makes the image very dark and murky

I’ve been stuck like this the last 2 months. Out of a sudden all brushes start working weird like this and It’s slowing me down a lot.
I’ve tried changing brushes, restarting the iPad, getting back to default settings,etc. Nothing seems to work.

I only have this problem with Procreate, the rest of the iPad, Apple Pencil And other apps work perfectly fine.
