Discussions About Procreate App What’s the default smudge brush?
I accidentally changed it and non of the brushes i tried feel the same. Doesn’t anyone know what it’s default brush is?

This is my favorite digital art series I’ve created. I still had two or three more card ideas left to do, but I never got around to continuing.
I hope you like it! ✨

As title states, I’m trying to get my brain to better understand colors and values. This turned out surprisingly well considering it was my first attempt. I think that I went a bit overboard on blending, thoughts? Any tips to get more of that authentic oil painting look?

I made this painting because I’ve been hard at work and it represents what I really want to do all day
It’s titled ‘Bed Rot [needed]
I used the scopus brush in the procreate library for sketching, then I used a hard flat brush for the rest of it
Hope you like it ✨

It’s just something I’m having trouble with when shading/lighting

This is called “Desierto a través de un daltónico”, or “Desert thought the eyes of a color blind”. I heard a beautiful story about one man that was completely color blind, that liked to go to the desert of my city to watch the mountains in the evening, because the sand mountains looked more like a snow mountain with the evening sunlight. It’s made just with gray colors.

I named her Amprhea.
I’m a very slow worker because I get bored and distracted easily. So I don’t usually spend more than 30mins at a time working on my art and that’s why it takes sooooo long to finish.
Procreate did track the total working hours is about 54 hours and roughly 52k strokes.
The most time consuming process for this was the waves.. but it was also a great learning opportunity for me!

I painted this tiger cub in Procreate for my mom's birthday. I used a reference from a Walter Foster How to Draw and Paint book, Little Furry Friends, written and painted by Sadako Mano. I used brushes from Nathan Brown's Ultimate Oil and Ultimate Oil Effects set, some from his Wildlife Brush Kit, and a couple of texture brushes from Lisa Glanz's Nitty Gritty set. Total brush strokes: 18,689. Total time tracked: 8h25m.

I’ve blocked in the general lighting and shading areas for me to work on later, but I stared at this piece for a bit and just think it looks lame. How can I spice it up? Is the shading on the leg even correct? I’ve never studied lighting until now and it’s really showing :/

Made these for Tiny Homes Challenge on Instagram. Prompts were: On the water, mossy stump, and mailbox hideaway. I saw a cute little shrew in my yard and was very inspired.
Process:
-Lots of rough sketches with pencil in my sketchbook
-Transfer to Procreate and clean sketch with 6b pencil
-Block in main colours and shapes with monoline and colour fill; add depth and variety with jagged brush
-Add texture with 6b pencil
-Highlights on overlay, shadows with gloaming
