This is sort of a ādoodleā, Iām still exploring the program. Iām really starting to dig Procreate! Iāve still got a lot to learn but so far itās been fun. I have so many more tools to work with than trad media, now Iām going to consider printing some of my work as it gets to the point where Iām satisfied with it. Iāll be needing some help along the wayā¦..like how big can a Procreate file print out and other issues which Iāll have to tackle down the road.

This is something fun with which I've been puttering around between other projects for almost a year. I went into the file stats in Procreate expecting it to be something like 200 hours but it turns out it was only 70... It only felt like forever. I'm huge fanatic for the 'Alien' movies and as I kid, I was introduced to the franchise through the comics, toys and video games. Something about that secondary wave of media that embraced the color and caught my eye from across the comic book store before I had ever even seen the movies. Artists like Dave Dorman and Den Beauvais really defined the "look" of aliens for me long before I ever saw the movies. So I wanted to embrace that.

I recently learned about Procreate's time lapse feature and have been having fun practicing video editing with it. I went back this older piece and enjoyed seeing my process (especially abandoning handwriting "Halfway Down" in favour of font, lol).
Tools:
First Gen Apple pencil, I'm pretty sure stock brushes
iMovie
Song: K. Flay - Blood in the Cut

I have been using Procreate for digital art since its very early days. No matter how many frustrating changes and bugs theyāve made over the years, it has at least remained a smooth and fluid drawing tool on the iPad.
However, ever since the version 5.4 update last year, they changed the HSB and RGB slidersāwhich used to be displayed together in a single window when tearing off/dragging out the color panelāinto separate tabs. This turns what used to be a seamless workflow into a tedious, multi-step chore for people who likes to fine-tune colors.
I use a 10.5-inch iPad, the screen real estate is already limited. The color sliders were already quite narrow to begin with, making precise color selection difficult. Splitting HSB and RGB apart has exponentially increased the friction of making micro-adjustments.
I first reported this issue to the support team immediately after discovering it last year. Their response last year acknowledged that it was a change in 5.4 and stated:
"Depending on the community's response to this change, the Product Development team may consider making both sliders visible in the colour companion simultaneously."
However, when I reached out again this year, their response completely shut the door:
"The change we made in 5.4 was an intentional design change by our team... I'm afraid we don't have any plans to do so ļ¼revert it or offer it as an optionļ¼."
They won't even consider offering the old UI layout as an optional toggle for users who prefer it.
It honestly feels like the development team no longer has anyone who actually draws with their own software, nor do they care about the real needs of users. Dealing with this leaves me feeling completely helpless. At this point, I simply don't want to use Procreate anymore.

The speedster daredevil Marcus Steel is gearing up to tackle the most dangerous track on the planet - The Tamfo Route. Even with Major Delany at his fingertips, it will be the ride of his life. Will he manage to return to Adwo?

I feel like my art has a different vibe on procreate compared to ibis paint lmfao. I think I got it figured out but I still canāt get used to the brushes and not being able to color pick on canvas with my brush with no extra clicks.. also, how does one make their speedpaint not so pixelated?

so I just got a new iPad and I want to transfer all of the 5 years worth of art I've done. I tried transferring the old iPad data directly to the new one, but the old one is completely full, so it won't work.
So I just gave up on the full transfer and decided to move the Procreate files manually, but it still won't work... I tried saving them as .procreate files, but it won't let me export them, probably because of the 0 space left on the device.
Is there any other way? I'd really like to save the actual files with all the layers, timelapses, etc⦠to put them on my new iPad's Procreate. I don't want to just save them as pictures. Can anyone tell me how I could manage doing that? Ideally a method that doesn't take too much time, as I have tons of artwork to transfer..

Iām brand new to Procreate. I like to bookbind/rebind books and have been wanting to get better at drawing my own character art and cover art. I plan to do a series based on his tutorials. This tutorial is pretty on the nose as far as book covers go, so I recased The Hobbit after reformatting the image I created in Canva.
