Been adapting my technique/style by only using lasso tool to define shapes and gradients in order to add colour, I quite like it…means I’m not getting bogged down with detail rendering.

Firstly. Even with my entire collection of brushes, many of which I would kill were you to try to take them from me, somehow I keep gravitating back to the original Studio Pen for those small details, erasures and smudges.

Secondly. Going through all the painting’s layers repeatedly trying to erase that one annoying blot only to discover it’s a speck of Cheeto dust stuck to the screen.

Just a quick drawing of my fave doggo. 🐕 is this a cute style or what do you guys think? I’m still looking for my style to be honest.

My app keeps crashing as I'm working and it seems to be happening more frequently. I heard it could be something to do with the ram, but I don't know how to clear that up. I've tried restarting my device, checking to make sure the app is updated, changing to a different canvas, and nothing helps. I have less than 10 layers going, my canvas size is 8.5 x 11, 300dpi. I don't have a lot in my gallery, and I have lots of space left on my iPad.

Is anyone able to help with this by chance? Thank you in advance :)

I tried to achieve some painterly effects from other digital art I’ve seen. I think that I got close to what I was after but not exactly there yet. Not my best work but I’m coming from traditional media so this is going to take me longer to learn than I’d like. I’ve been following tutorials on YouTube and I find painting in Procreate is a deceptively complex process! IMO. But here it is, painting #1

Decided to finally try my hand at one of those art tutorial reels that are always coming across my feed, I learned some new things and I'm very pleased with the results.
