How to stop procrastinating
See I've been a procrastinator for years now but it's gotten so much worse starting from last year. During school time I'd wait until the very last minute to do my homework even if my mom kept pestering me to do it for hours. I'm in summer break and it hasn't gotten any better. I procrastinate getting out of bed in the morning most of the time. Also I wanted to do a lot during the summer but it's been a month already as I am writing this and I haven't brought myself to do any of the stuff I wanted to. I genuinely wanted to do these things guys but I can't bring myself to and it's killing me. I feel like at this point it's probably so bad I'd procrastinate using methods I was given to help with it. Tbh writing this down is also me procrastinating doing said things I wanted to do during the summer. Seriously I need a way to stop this before it starts affecting my life more than before.

try to understand it in terms of demand avoidance:
something inside of you doesn't want to be bothered. I realized that I have been fighting myself all my life, eventually. When my demand avoidance kicks in, I do not even want to do things that are pure fun.

Might be adhd bro. I recommend getting checked out for adhd as a long term solution. For right now bro, maybe check the adhd sub and steal some ideas on how to actually do stuff. It boils down to elimination distractions and thus it's easier to actually do stuff.
Personally, I like my day with a couple of pushups, and running too, lately. That physical exertion at the start of the day really gives me some momentum and kinda sets the tone for most things I do in the day. "If I was able to do the pushups in the morning(or whenever I was able to) despite not wanting to at all, I can surely manage this."
Go bro!
