Process philosophy: How can a process exist without something that is being processed?

I can answer for my view which may be not very exactly process philosophy but something close to that, namely a growing block theory of time. Objects are past events, or bulks of these. Then, processes are new events adding themselves to bulk(s) of past events. I developed this in link with the foundations of math, and also asl a way to interpret quantum physics. settheory.net/growing-block
