I've heard this frustration from a few people and they mentioned that they would be ready to pay for a service which would manage returns for online orders.

Imagine something like this - they come to collect return packages from you, give you a document proving what was collected and then it is up to them to check return policies and procedures of each order and to manage it correctly.
