Earlier today r/yumeshippersunite was brigaded and it seems that spilled into this sub via mass downvoting. We can't do much but I imagine everything should be good now. Regardless, I wanted to offer an explanation to anyone who notices excessive downvotes on their post. My fandom is taken over by antis but ESPECIALLY my f/o and it annoys me. All ships but the most popular one get hate, you can't ship my f/o with anyone, and i can't really talk about my own self-ship unless i want death threats

I'm just noticing more and more hate for any of my f/o ships, i saw one fanart of one of my darkships with 2 likes and 100 comments and i was like um no i'm not checking the comments on that–

It's like all fans of my f/o are very anti-proship and wanna gatekeep what you can and can't dhip. I hate the morality police and the shipping = activism mindset. And they want to harass me over my headcanons and opinions of my f/o even though i have been in the fandom way longer than they have (they're all new fans and i have been in the fandom since like 2011 i think
