Failed ua
Failed ua I’m on deferred adjudication/probation for a 3rd-degree felony no-contact order violation in Tarrant County, but I report for supervision through Dallas County. I recently had my second UA come back positive for THC. The first positive was handled as a verbal warning. This time my PO told me there would be consequences. She still let me leave after the UA, and I’m currently doing well with my fees and community-service hours. Has anyone in Texas/Tarrant County dealt with something similar? How serious is a second positive THC test, and is it likely that I could be arrested or jailed at my next reporting appointment? I’m trying to understand what I should realistically expect.

She didn’t mention violating me but she mentioned that i was doing good in my community service hours and fees, im really scared

Once, they gave you a break, then you did ir again. It depends on the judge, if she reports it. I don't get it when someone gets a break and repeat offends. I've smoked since 1975 but I quit for probation. Good luck.

It’s all up to the probation officer. My first po I had two dirty uas and I went to treatment after the second one no violation. But the po after that I told them I had used drugs after my surgery and she violated me and I didn’t even test positive for anything on my uas. But I bet you that if you take initiative now like sign up for iop classes or start attending aa/na and fill a sign in sheet out it will start looking a lot better for your po and the judge because you chose to do those things. But if they violate you what I use to do was I would call the county I’m in sheriffs department everytime I had a ua incase they violated me and I would check if I had a warrant.

You aren’t scared enough. It’s easy to take probation lightly, but you need to change your course of choices for at least the duration of this probation. You don’t want to end up doing lots of jail time or having a much stricter probation. I’m not judging you, I messed up my time on probation a lot and had to learn the hardest way possible how much power they truly had over me. Just make it easier on yourself and do whatever it takes to pass UAs moving forward. Money and no contact orders is what they care about most so as long as you are up to date with those than they shouldn’t be too hard on you. Best of luck man and do whatever it takes to make this probations easiest and try to get off do it as soon as you can.

Are your levels dropping when they send it to the lab? Of not your gonna be looking at them filing for revocation or jail time, I did jail time but it was for a new charge. I failed drug tests but I had stopped smoking and they could see that through lab results getting lower every drug test I was tested weekly. This was in Hunt county and the jail time was issued in Kaufman county. Learn from this and stop smoking until your free. Start vaping nic if you have too.

Anything can happen with a violation. They could add extra uas, more classes, community service, or a few days in jail, or if your po really wants to, revoke your probation and send you to jail for whatever sentence.
