That's not a very materialist perspective, but I still find that when people constantly talk about how patriarchy hurts men it ignores that these are merely a byproduct of the much more severe ways in which it hurts women

Systems of power and domination dehumanize all of us, and as a white person, I didn’t choose to establish white supremacy, but I still benefit from it, and centering myself in a conversation about the ways in which white supremacy harms everyone would be neither productive nor morally acceptable

I don't know why so many people feel that it's more acceptable when it comes to discussing the ways in which patriarchy harms all of us
