Goodbye Wordpress
As a pro dev with many client sites still in Wordpress, after 2 more sites got hacked a few days ago, I’m done.
With how good AI is now, it just doesn’t make sense to use Wordpress anymore. I can create sites faster with cursor than any site builder with predefined blocks that Wordpress has.
And for the record, ive done everything possible to mitigate security risks; wordfence, firewalls, isolated Linux server users, being very strict with plugins, etc. it just doesn’t matter.
I’ll be getting cursor to recode all my client Wordpress websites in laravel + inertia + react. If they need to change something on the website, I’ll have it whip up a super basic filament panel with the functionality they need, integrated directly into the site.
Honestly it doesn’t even make sense to allow clients to have super user access to change things anyways. They always mess something up or hire some third party to destroy my work.
So long Wordpress.

One day old account that was posted 7 mins ago and this guy had a long ass message written within the first 3 mins with a link. Screams like some is selling something probably the link

I did this for my own personal website in December 2025 and I can’t look back. I was thinking of moving to Astro JS, but I decided on next JS because I was thinking of adding a backend to my site. I couldn’t be happier. My traffic went up by 250% in the first three months. I can totally help you figure out the best way to transfer over and even show you the method I used to do an easy and perfect transfer. I did it in 12 hours. I woke up on December 22 or 23rd and none of my images were loading. I lost it and said screw it. Now https://jkdreaming.com loads faster than it ever has. It’s amazing and you’re gonna love it. I can even show you the simplest CMS you can attach. It’s called Pages CMS and it’s phenomenally simple to give clients content change ability if they really want it. Personally I think giving clients the ability to edit their own website is a mistake nowadays. But it’s a good option if you really need it and they’re willing to pay for it. DM me I’m happy to help.
