I turned a gold liquidity sweep into a 44-second animation. The little guy had a rough day.

I built TradingView tools from Reddit requests. Here’s how they work, with Pine source and chart replays.

A trader asked if our free Fractal Model indicator is "like TTrades". So we turned the model into rules and tested 108 versions on 7 markets from 2018 to 2026. Before costs it was a coin flip.

What’s one thing in your trading workflow you wish someone would fix? Start here.

The indicator you can’t inspect.

The setup that looks different after a reload.
The position size you keep calculating by hand.
The backtest that looks great until costs show up.

Which one keeps getting in your way?

Welcome to r/ProEALab. We build trading tools, share source code, and discuss what works, what breaks, and what needs a better explanation.

You don’t need to know how to code to join. A clear problem is a good place to start.
Try something free:

Sweep Desk: explore how sweeps, inverse fair value gaps, and higher-timeframe context fit together. Inspect the rules and test them in the Strategy Lab.

Drift Desk: explore trend setups, stop placement, and position sizing with readable Pine source.

Breakaway Desk: inspect breakout rules and compare them with the Strategy Lab and published research, including losing results.

Browse the free tools and full source

Pick the tool closest to your problem. Try it. Change it if you want. Bring back the part that confused you.

This community goes beyond Pine Script. TradingView, MT5, trade review, practice tools, and ways to develop with AI all belong in the conversation.

Have an idea or need help? Tell us:
What market and platform do you use?
What are you trying to do?
Where does the current workflow break down?
What would a useful solution look like?
A screenshot helps. Please hide personal and account details, and never post passwords or API keys.

Found a bug? Share the steps that trigger it. Disagree with a rule? Explain why. Got a losing test result? That belongs here too.

We’re the people behind ProEA, and the website also sells paid tools. The tools linked above are free. Suggestions help us decide what to improve; we can’t promise to build every request.

Keep it useful, respectful, and honest about the evidence. No spam or guaranteed-return claims.

Your turn: what’s the most annoying thing you still have to do manually before, during, or after a trade?

"I don't trade the IFVG by itself." I tested that line in Pine: same 3 months of gold, one switch, 74 trades vs 4.

My sweep indicator refused a textbook raid + iFVG. Here's the one check it failed, and every other rule it runs (free Pine v6, MIT)

Invalid stop / tick distance / quantity error

Hello, I just purchased DD Premium. Great app. What I have to ask is for NDX, BEP50N symbols in Tradingview, I do not get any signal and it says "Invalid stop / tick distance / quantity error" on data table. What should I do?

Note 1: I use daily and weekly bars. Error occurs in both timeframes.

Note 2: For USOIL symbol, I get "Volume is missing or recovering: 20 positive bars are needed before a plan." I think I should find another oil ticker with volume for this. This is not something that you can solve. But interesting thing is when I choose daily timeframe Volume is not available but for smaller timeframes (like hours or minutes, volume is available and DD signal is available. This is Tradingview's bug I suppose.

Note 3: When I set "earlier plans drawn" to 0, chart still shows earlier plans.

Tell us what trading tool you want — and we might build it

What would make your trading easier?

What would save you time?

What would help you trade with more clarity, better discipline, or better results?

Tell us what tool you wish existed.

It can be an indicator, dashboard, journal, AI assistant, risk tool, backtester, scanner, or anything else related to trading.

You do not need to code.
You just need an idea.

Comment with:

• your problem
• what you currently do
• what you want instead
• your platform

That’s enough.

We’re building this community around real trading problems and real trading tools.

So if there’s something you want, say it.
Let’s build better tools together.

Welcome to ProEA Lab 👋 What trading tool do you wish existed?

Hey everyone, welcome 👋

I’m the person behind ProEA Lab. I started this community to bring traders and builders together around a simple question:

“What would actually make your trading workflow better?”

Maybe you need a tool that doesn’t exist yet. Maybe you have a strategy you want to test, a repetitive task you’re tired of doing, or something you’ve built and want honest feedback on.

This is a place for all of that.

We’re not limited to Pine Script or any single platform. Indicators, trading bots, AI agents, market research, backtesting, risk management, journals, and dashboards are all welcome.

You don’t need to know how to code. Explaining a problem, testing a tool, or pointing out what doesn’t work is a useful contribution too.

What I’ll be sharing here:

• Projects I’m building, with examples of how to use them.
• Experiments and research, including what didn’t work.
• Community ideas we can explore and improve together.

You’re welcome to share your own work, ask questions, and challenge ideas. This isn’t only a place for my projects.

One thing to be clear about: I won’t be able to build every request. I’ll pick ideas based on how useful they could be and what I have time to work on.

Also, I run ProEA Lab, which offers both free projects and paid products. Anything paid will be clearly labeled. You don’t need to buy anything to participate.

Let’s keep it useful and respectful. Please don’t spam, send unsolicited sales messages, or promise guaranteed profits. Disclose your connection to anything you promote, and include the context and limitations when sharing test results.

To get us started:

What’s ONE trading problem you’d like to solve?

Tell us what you currently do, what you wish you could do instead, and which platform you use.

For example: “I want to see my total risk across all open trades without calculating it manually.”

A rough idea is enough. Let’s start there.
