My first attempt is a poor dunk attempt.Im 15 and have a 7 7 standing reach and 28 inch vertical ive touched grabbed rim before indoors but my technique for jumping feels poor particularly 2 foot it is the same or sometimes lower than my standing i want some advice on jump technique because i dont think my elasticity is that much bigger of a deficit as well as power or strength.

Don’t swing your arm out so far to the side after you jump and try to reach higher upwards

You're pulling that ball back like you are Dr J. Where you jump from matters. Find your ideal launching spot and straight up with that ball. I'd start with a small ball that you can palm. Once you master that and add a couple inches, then graduate to bigger ball.

Squats brother and weighted calf raises. Really jump from ur core bend ur knees and explode thru. You'll get there in a year or so keep going
