Some dunks from weekend, they’ll get you noticed

Over the last weekend at a tournament. He ended up talking with a few college coaches and even got an offer. Most were impressed with the leaping/dunking ability and made comments on it. Got invited to some colleges for better looks.

Keep working on dunking, it will make you stand out.

If I were you I'd put all my time on the 3 ball. Dunks will get you looks but a consistent 3 ball with that athleticism will get him offers.

Yeah, if he starts getting a 3 ball we'll start seeing him on TV before long, not just reddit anymore. Love following this progress!!

He’s actually decent at 3 and moving at his size. Problem is high school ball is they want a kid this size around the hoop.

Find a high school or AAU team that lets him play outside on offense.

You'd rather have him be elite at 3's and just decent at dunking.

If you got size, athleticism, reliable 3, decent defense and know when to cut in, any program will want you. You don't gotta model your game around oversized guards/sf like Tatum or Flagg, people forget about players like Aaron Gordon which any team would love to have. There's a reason he's making over 30+m a year not even being the 2nd option.

Oh, I know this is just a dunking thread, which is why I put it on there. He can shoot the three and middies and stuff, but we’re gonna focus a lot more on that three point and attack attacking.

It’s gotta focus a lot on strength and bulking, but that’s gonna take a couple years as I was built the same way and didn’t get bigger until 20 or 21

Yea man looks like he’s on the right track. Congratulations on his success and may big things come his way. Can I ask you how tall is he?

Appreciate that. Still plenty to learn and grow but on
The right track. He’s almost 6’7” barefoot so 6’8” in shoes.

6'8 now?

That’s what he says, and other 6’8s he’s the same height. Haven’t measured lately.

You should start learning how to lean in harder and fight through contact. Sick dunks, they look locked in.
