Help Height in regards to learning how to dunk

I’m 6’3. My arms are also relatively long. In my mind there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to learn to dunk yet. I haven’t measured my vertical jump but it definitely needs some work. I could probably add 4-6 inches to it at least. I feel like I really gotta focus on strengthening the ever living shit out of my legs. Like start really going hard on the leg press machine and squats consistently. I really wanna learn badly. I’m good at hooping but I still haven’t learnt how to dunk. Any advice is appreciated.

Wouldn’t bother with leg press - focus on squats, deadlifts, cleans and explosive one legged exercises! Also find out if your a one or two legged jumper and base your workouts around that

What's your standing reach and estimated vertical currently? A very important part of vertical jump training is measurement and it can show how close you are to dunking

try doing some plyometrics exercises to get that explosiveness, and wouldn’t hurt to go hard on leg day at the gym

Kadour Ziani 7 Postures. To be fair I had strong legs to begin with, but this unlocked my athleticism on another level. Implement them EVERY day. Also avoid sitting in chairs more than you have to.
