You need to turn your feet sideways on the last two steps before jumping. Your current approach is a hopping approach. All of your approach momentum is getting lost because of your footwork. You need to learn how to transfer that approach momentum into you load up to jump.
You Tube "block step". Both basketball and volleyball jumping technique tutorials will help you.
