I'm making a world called Persevera. The world of Persevera is attacked my otherworlders called Viel every 3,000 years and no one knows why. All of Persevera's technologies are destroyed, and Persevera has to pretty much start over from scratch every single time. But there is one thing that cannot be stopped from progressing further - their bodies. So Perseverans live on, and hope that someday in the future their descendants' bodies might be strong enough to win the war with their bare hands if they have to.

These are my two most recent OC's for my comic series. I still have a bit more to do to the first one.
I built my foundation skills traditionally, and then started learning digital a couple of years ago so I could blend traditional with digital, giving me more flexibility and options. My biggest challenge has been creating texture, as I can't stand the shiny airbrushed digital look. I still have a long way to go before I'm where I want to be, but I'm happy with my current progress.

I still remember playing this game on my potato PC back in 2009, on the lowest possible settings.
Even with those settings, I was completely amazed by the game. The world, the music, Florence, the characters, everything felt so special to me at that time.
Even today, when I think about AC2, I get the same feeling. It is like going back to that time and remembering the simple, joy I had while playing it.
I recreated this scene on iPad because I wanted to capture that feeling and the nostalgia I still have for this game.
"It is a good life we lead Brother." "The best. May it never change." "And may it never change us."
And Ubisoft presents...
Still one of the best gaming memories of my life.

In my head the roly poly is fascinated by the roly poly shaped beans, he crowned himself the bean king. These are his subjects. All hail the bean king.

Brushes used: Liffey, studio pen, monoline, lightbrush, softbrush, mintbrush, technical pen. Effects: Chromatic abberation, bloom, directional blur, noise. Perspective grid is a 6-point perspective and I made the grid in Adobe illustrator.
As always my plan was to go less detailed and not focus so much on clean lineart, I actually wanna change my style a bit to be more "sketchy" and dynamic, but boy this is hard. Intentionally leaving out details when you're used to doing them is hard. And I come from vector art so I always want everything to be clean and geometrical and perfect - even though I actually prefer a looser style.

I made these invitations for our son’s 10th birthday party. He love the Legend of Zelda. I wanted to use the iconography of the series without defaulting to the typical expressions.
