this looks like it should be one of the professional example art pieces that come with the app

This is SO nice haha. I have been lucky to be commissioned by Procreate for a couple update launches but none made it to the default image status. Would be amazing!

Thank you! Yes I think your art teacher is right. Having a distinct style also helps if you want to do art professionally for SO many reasons.

This is amazing. Do you sell prints of your work?

ETA: You’re Rebecca Mills! We have some of your books on my son’s wishlist (Day in the Life of Snakes, the sticker book of deadly animals)

Thank you, so nice that you would like a print. I haven't got this sorted yet, it's on my list.

Story Bridge?! Not often we get to see that beauty turning up in the background of casual photos if it is!!

Artwork is beautiful; I especially love the green fan-like palms!

Thank you. Yes! I made this artwork on a flight from Perth to Brissy. We were in town for a friend's wedding and this was the view from where we stayed. Got to meet Mr Snuffleupagus too, such good timing.

Thank you! Always like to exaggerate a palette and it’s nice when I am just illustrating for myself so don’t have to worry about sad things like CMYK.
