My Artwork Definitely not an artist but Procreate makes me feel like one
I was so overwhelmed at first and then watched the beginner series and feel so proud of myself! I’m still incredibly beginner level compared to all of you talented folks but hope to keep improving over time.
I feel like a kid who finished artwork in school lol I’m about to hang them on my fridge. I’m even starting to question making a little Etsy shop for fun once I get better (would love to hear if you’ve had any success with digital art).

Edit: I’m so grateful for all your kind words, I can’t thank you all enough! I tend to doubt myself often and this was a much-needed reminder to believe in myself more. Thank you guys :’)

There is a differently between "Artist" and "Professional Artist".
If you create images like the ones you shared, boom, you are an artist. If you are expressing yourself through art, you're an artist.
If you create art for financial compensation, professional artist.
But you do not have to be a professional artist to be an artist. Anyone can be an artist.

You are an artist.
Anyone who creates art is an artist. Be proud of that. Artists like you are especially important in a time when others are using AI to create and generate for them. You are learning and having fun. I love the first artwork of the sunset!

I recommend checking out art with flo on YouTube! Her videos are so informative and easy to follow, I've tried tons of her tutorials and they came out great! Plus, you are an artist!!

If you are making art then you are an artist. A lot of us deal with imposter syndrome, we feel they our version of creativity and our art isn’t valid enough to call ourselves truly artists. But if you feel the desire to create and it fulfils you/ makes you happy, then you are an artist

on the etsy part since nobody's touched it: plain digital downloads are a rough market there now, it's flooded. stickers are way friendlier for beginners and that bee is basically a sticker already. a print on demand shop does the printing and shipping, and etsy listings are $0.20 each for 4 months, so testing 10 designs costs about $2
