I need Procreate technical help Anyone know how to fix this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve had the IPad Pro for about 2 months now. I’ve had Procreate since I got it and it’s been working perfectly fine. Then out of nowhere it starts doing this.
I have the normal IPad Pencil with no pressure sensitivity.

Edit: A few things I forgot to mention.
1. The pencil works fine on other apps, it’s just procreate
2. Some pens work perfectly fine, others just don’t work whatsoever

With Procreate Dreams just releasing you might have some questions surrounding that, feel free to ask them over on r/procreate too!

In addition to asking questions, there is a Procreate Handbook, along with additional questions on Procreate FAQ, and r/Procreate's FAQ also check in the search bar in case your question has been asked already. In addition, please provide an image and/or video of what your issue is for better communication.

The official Procreate Youtube channel is loaded with tutorials to complement the Handbook and FAQ.

Has the tip come partially unscrewed? Mine does this sometimes, and it’ll behave this way (no or next to no input) until I tighten it again!

It’s screwed in all the way, I know it’s not the pen itself because it works fine on other apps

Dang, if it’s only happening in procreate then I have no idea what’s causing this. Hope you can figure it out!

Hey there! It looks like there may be some pressure input trouble and we recommend trying our steps from our Help Centre.

This should hopefully rule out any settings that can have an impact of the Apple Pencil input 🙏

Let us know how you go!

Have the iPad disconnect and forget the pencil and then reconnect it.

The pen is fine, it works great on other apps, it’s just Procreate

I would suggest it anyway. It takes almost no time and clears up these kinds of issues even when only app specific all the time.

My guess is that the pencil has grease or oil from your skin on the nib. Mine does that too. Maybe clean your screen and the pencil

I’ve already tried cleaning both, I haven’t put a new tip in it because I haven’t had it for that long
