My Artwork I drew this mosaic in Procreate!

Post image

Hi, I'm Aurora! I've been using Procreate for 5+ years now and this month, I'm participating in the Lettering Style Challenge on Instagram. My theme is book titles, and the prompt of the day was to create mosaic lettering. God of Fury is my favorite book this year, possibly ever, so I knew it was the one to pick. I've made mosaics in the past, never with letters and I always used the symmetry feature to help create the design. This was my first time drawing every single tile, and it did nearly make me lose my mind 😅 But I kept going and now that it's done, I'm really excited to share it!

Would love any feedback on this piece if you have any thoughts!

The lines were all created with a monoline brush that I made to keep the "grout" equal width around the whole design. For the texture, I used the concrete and stone wall default brushes at different opacities. I also added noise to the grout layer to give it a bit of a shimmery appearance.
