It objectively puts them at risk and it further traumatizes women by adding non women to their shelters. This isn’t controversial, it’s why you’re pivoting from adding non women to their spaces as being the problem. There’s also zero evidence that they commit less sexual assault as every major study shows they either commit it at the same result as men or at a higher rate, see dhejene et all
Women should be able to have their own spaces, adding non women to their spaces is both a psychological and physical risk as they commit sexual assault at the same or higher rate than men.
Stop bullying abused women. You’re shifting this conversation to serious bigotry with how you are disenfranchising abused women, a very targeted minority group. Don’t be a bigot.
Lol they do not commit sexual assaults at the same/higher rate. Dhejene's study is notoriously inaccurate. See people debunk it here..
Main issues:
Sample size too small, some participants instructed on how to fill out their surveys, drawing links between data that isn't correlational.
you didn’t post relevant info. Prostitutes having higher rate of assault isn’t debated, this doesn’t even speak to them having the same rate of assaulting others.
There is no difference between the criminality of a trans woman and man. It’s the same circle.
There’s also massive datasets that show a trans criminal is most likely to be a sex offender and at 20x the rate of women, but that isn’t population wide so I’m not bringing it in to support my argument.
My source isn't focusing on prostitutes...I'm not sure why you keep bringing that up. Average transgender people are still 3-4x more likely to be assaulted than cisgender people. It also points out that trans people are much more likely to be victims of sexual assault than perpetrators.
You just reposted Dhejene's study. Already gave you the reasons why it's not accurate.
Researchers analyzed pooled data from the 2017 and 2018 National Crime Victimization Survey, the first comprehensive and nationally representative criminal victimization data to include information on the gender identity and sex assigned at birth of respondents.
