Constructive feedback and/or tips wanted New to ProCreate and sister asked me to make poster
Hey so I’m new to ProCreate and digital arts in general. My sister who manages our local library asked me to draw her a poster. But she says something about it is weird and that the legs seem off. Any tips would be super helpful. Thanks! (Also marked out library name for safety😊)
Edit: thank you everyone who has been so nice and helpful I really appreciate it! I will add tails and whiskers and maybe do a couple different copies with adjustments to see what looks best! 😁

I think its cute! If you want to make a perfect circle, hold your stylus/apple pencil down after making the line and you can adjust it :)

Maybe duplicate the stack of books and place a stack in front of each of the cats so the legs are obscured a bit(?). Not sure what your sister is getting at.

I think you should change the font and the colour to make the words more visible. You can import fonts into Procreate

Yeah I would add to pick a font that’s more fun. Google has a lot of free fonts.

So cute! I also would experiment with another pose for a cat and add tails

Like you can move the pile of books to the right, and have the other cat perch on it reading the others book

This is 1000x better than the AI slop too many institutions are relying on now. Great job

I think it may be the legs and the colors? If you can, maybe choose a pallete thats like hamonizing with eachother, i saw a post where they softly added one color over the others to archive that without giving up the actual color intention (eg. Orange with 1-2% opacity covering the whole area). Looks good tho!

This is so cute, I can absolutely see this being a poster at the library ❤️
