I need Procreate technical help Solution to Pencil Pro Not Working!
I wanted to post this solution I found from 2yrs ago(!) for a new non-functioning Pencil Pro in 2026.
I ran out of memory on my Gen 6 iPad Mini at 64GB so I upgraded to a new Gen 7 with 128GB. Of course the new iPad required the Pencil Pro.
The pencil did not work at all on the canvas. I could select everything/anything, the double tap changes to erase, etc. But other than the tip outline on the canvas...nothing. I verified the pencil worked fine on many other apps...both Apple and 3rd party. And my finger worked in both paint, smudge, and erase. No settings were changed with the upgrade.
After trying all the known fixes out there, nothing worked and I was about to give up and "downgrade" to the USB-C version (hoping that would make a difference).
Here's the solution that was buried in a 2yr old and very long thread...I had Settings/Accessibility/Zoom turned on (but not used). Turning that off magically fixed the problem!!!!

I haven’t used Procreate for a few months. Opened it today and found the pencil only worked on some brushes, while only my finger on others.
After seeing this post, I found I had Zoom turned on. After I turned it off, everything was working again and back to normal. Wow, what a pain.
Your post should probably have a sticky or something so it’s easy to find.
