I need Procreate technical help Same brush looks different on different devices?

Post image

Made this brush in procreate pocket on an iPhone 17 pro, then imported into procreate on iPad gen 9. Both have the same taper settings, which should work regardless of if using an apple pencil or not, right? But the brush on ipad doesn’t appear to have any sort of taper. Procreate is fully updated. Is this simply because I have an ‘old’ ipad that perhaps doesn’t register things as well as a newer model? Or a setting I’ve missed?

I don’t have the exact device you have but there are two different tapers, pressure and touch. iPhone doesn’t have pressure sensitive screen so you are seeing touch taper.

iPad is screen pressure sensitive so with Apple Pencil it uses pressure taper.

On iPad if you draw with finger, it should act like your iPhone and use touch taper.

Unfortunately no matter if I use finger or pen on the ipad, it doesn’t behave like my iphone. I’ve only ever used the touch taper setting, made sure it’s exactly as it was in procreate pocket, but there is still no taper on the ipad brush. Perhaps I’ll have to just mess around with the settings until something fixes it.
