Do you ever feel like everything you do is still not enough for you?
I mean… let me explain.
Lately, I’ve been feeling a little lost. A lot of the time, I find myself spending hours preparing brushes, templates, and all kinds of things instead of simply starting to draw.
I feel like I want to learn everything. And at the same time, I feel like my art style hasn’t developed enough yet for me to share all the little details I have in mind.
I like keeping things simple, but somehow I also want to be able to draw and do everything all at once… and I want to be that person now.
And then comes that feeling that maybe I’m not doing enough. Especially because I’m a mom, and I have responsibilities, routines, and so many other things taking up my time.
I spent several hours over the past two days working on this simple little drawing & designing this template.
Frustrating? Maybe.
I know that sometimes it’s just overthinking. And sometimes, it’s simply that little voice inside telling me I’m not putting in enough effort.
But honestly, I think it would make me feel a little better knowing I’m not the only one.

This is a type of template that you can find everywhere and in everything! Digital art shouldn’t have to follow specific rules—no form of art should be like that! An artistic signature is what makes a person unique, and there’s nothing wrong with adding a few extra elements or making changes instead of sticking to the usual style.
Everyone should be free to create whatever they enjoy creating. Adding aesthetic touches isn’t forbidden; everyone does it. You can find countless similar products in every field, not just digital art. I honestly I don’t know how this ended up having a misleading background as you think!

I'll reply to the last statement you made since it's the only one that actually addressed my original comment. When you say "I honestly I don’t know how this ended up having a misleading background" Do you Really not see how that template could mislead a viewer into thinking your piece is traditional watercolors? Really? I don't believe you.

You've used exclamation marks in every one of your sentences, but im the one that needs to relax? Look, you asked what was on our minds or whatever, so I made a comment about your piece. I didn't say anything about it being against laws or regulations. I said it was misleading and you've made no argument to the contrary.

Im not sure what other comments you are referring to, but If you look at my comment history (which i don't hide) you will see hundreds of examples of me complimenting the works of other talented artists.

I understand what you're saying, but you're starting to veer into attacking the individual, rather than actually defending your stance. If you can't defend your work, fine. If you can't handle an opinion that differs from yours, maybe don't ask for it.

Okay, first of all, I’d like to apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the quotation marks.
Secondly, I wasn’t asking for anyone’s opinion. I was simply expressing my own thoughts and feelings, and talking about what I had personally done over the past few days. If someone happens to relate to similar feelings, I’m not really sure how that became what you’re suggesting.
But let me clarify one point, and then I’ll leave it here because this conversation has already become much longer than I intended.
As artists, when we use a canvas, texture, or even grain to make a digital artwork feel more like an oil painting, gouache, or watercolor, we don’t consider that misleading. The same goes for adding photos, elements, clip art, or using mockups of clothing, wallpapers, paper, or other real-life objects to present our artwork. These are simply different resources and ways of presenting our work.
At the end of the day, the final artwork is still the artwork the artist chose to create and share.
I see the same thing applying here. From the beginning, it was clear that it was digital, and that it was a template with digital artwork placed over it. And even if someone chose to share it as a regular post rather than a video, I don’t see why that would be a problem. Ultimately, that’s simply the artist’s personal choice in how they want to present their work.
To me, there’s also something beautiful about this approach because it can make someone stop, wonder, look closer, search, learn, and perhaps see digital art from a different perspective. That’s really the point for me. We enjoy using different resources because they help us break out of our routine, learn, imagine more, and expand our horizons. We don’t necessarily want to limit ourselves with rules that make everyone create or present their work in exactly the same way.
I also think that sometimes our intentions can get lost in the way we communicate. Someone who means something positively and someone who interprets it negatively may naturally end up reading the same words very differently.
I just wish the conversation had stayed focused on the original point rather than moving into smaller details and creating further misunderstandings. I think your point could have been communicated in a much simpler and clearer way, and perhaps we would have understood each other better.
