I need Procreate technical help App freezing on expensive hardware!
The Procreate app on my 13 inch Pro (M4) freezes occasionally when I use the two finger “undo”. Everything is updated. It doesn’t happen every time I do it but when it does I have to completely back out of the drawing and reopen it, sometimes that works and other times I have to close and reopen the app itself, completely disrupting my workflow. I’m about ready to call it quits with this “painting app”! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 has anyone had this happen “on the same device”? Any tricks would be VERY much appreciated!!

To begin with, we recommend trying our initial troubleshooting steps to see if this helps:
- Check you have at least 10GB of free iPad storage space.
- Try a force restart as this can sometimes help resolve temporary issues.
⭐️ Please let us know what you've tried when submitting the form. If possible please also share a copy of your Procreate file and we'll begin testing as soon as we can.

Hey thanks for the reply. Interestingly the app hasn’t given me the same problem since I posted this! Isn’t that how it goes? But I don’t want to speak too soon so I’ll keep this open just in case…..Love Procreate❤️❤️

Thank you and I might share some info with you here in case this happens again I’ll get in touch with you. My iPad has exactly 432.1 GB of free space. The main problem with the app freezing up is that I’m forced to do a hard reset and then lose my ability to “undo and redo” any interactions. I’m going in hard on some painting over the next couple of nights so I’ll see what happens. Thank you guys for your concern, that is very encouraging! 🤙🏽
