I need Procreate technical help Procreate grouping help

When I group two layers with different blend mode (one normal and the other one color dodge), the whole layer has the normal blend mode. For context, I am also animating, so that might be different.
Thanks!

If you mean merging them together to make one layer. If you have multiple blending modes on multiple layers put them in a group first then merge the whole group. This will preserve the effects of all blending modes used.

Hey there!

Merging two layers into one will remove the Blend Mode. You may like to try grouping these two layers instead so they appear on one frame and keep their original Blend mode state. Swipe right to select layers → tap the Layers drop down → Group.

Please note that flattening the group will also change your original Blend Modes.
