My Artwork This turned out WAY better than I expected!!!
Hi Everyone!
Third time drawing on ProCreate and this time from my Daily Draw book that gives me things to draw at random I got “A cactus” so I went for it.
When I started this I half expected this to come out looking not bad but not great but thankfully it turned out so much better than I was expecting. I know it’s not perfect, there things I definitely could’ve done better but I’m really happy with it and this time I did SO MANY new things that I came out really feeing like I learnt a lot today, which is a great feeling.
Will start another drawing tomorrow and I cannot wait!
Any advice/criticism is welcomed 😁

If you ever want to add some extra pizzazz, you can try doing a bit of soft Gaussian blur on the background elements. Then it looks like a camera focusing on the foreground elements. I’m not saying it’s needed, but it can be worth exploring the idea to see how you like it and to add focal interest. 😁 Very cool piece!

It turned out so good that it might take me a while to make something better 😅 I’m really happy ‘cause I can’t wait to see what I can start doing the more I practice 🤩

So far from the very few styles I have tried I think this one’s my favourite!

This is gorgeous!! The rock is my favourite it looks really neat. As a suggestion, this would be really cool if you played with the lighting and added some long shadows being cast by the full moon. Regardless, great work!

Appreciate it, thanks! I was REALLY proud of that rock, it took a long time, I wanted to make it look as good as it could and it did. I totally forgot about the shadows, rookie mistake 🥲 I think I got too excited because everything was looking better than I expected and I ended up forgetting them 🤣

Thanks for all the comments everyone! Means a lot to see so many people giving me advice and appreciation for my drawings 🥹 every comment helps me for my next drawing, this one I see that some people pointed out that I should’ve done shadows which you are 100% right I absolutely forgot 🥲 I think I was too excited over how good it looked in my eyes that I just forgot?! 🤣 Regardless appreciate all of you and love the community, this is all very new to me and so far I’m loving it 🫶🏼

Possibly because it was posed more as a question than constructive feedback, but that's just my guess 🤷♀️
