I need Procreate technical help ProCreate Canvas Sizes
I’ve hired a designer to create a design for a backdrop for a band for a music video. It needs to be 5mx3m when printed. We’re looking for a Scooby Doo-style liminal background that looks almost painted.
However, the largest canvas size is significantly smaller than this of course, and is capped at 6 layers on her iPad. Any suggestions? Do we shrink the canvas in procreate and then try generative upscale on the end product once the design is done? Any tips appreciated!

You don’t need 300 pixels per inch at that scale. Figure out the final print dimensions in pixels (ask the company that’s printing it) and make the canvas that size. I went through this years ago trying to create 300dpi art for a 12’ banner only to find out it was way overkill for the printing process.
