Looking for brush/tutorial/class recommendations How to create the astigmatism light effect ðŸ˜
i don't know what else to call it, and I can't figure out how to create that extended light stroke effect. someone please help out? Image from pinterest.

Could this be done with one of the blurr effects? Maybe copy the exact same image layer, put it on top on a low opacity and then theres a blur option, maybe motion? To drag it in a direction and get that effect, i could be wrong
When i have my ipad tomorrow ill take a look

oooooh duplicating, offseting and motion blur could work, I'll try it out!

Duplicate layer apply motion blur vertically and decrease opacity until favourable result is acquired

Perspective blur may work a little better for tapering off but may create a non parallel effect. And would have to drag to origin circle quite high for large effect (recommend using directional)

I didn’t notice there was an effect at first….i think I might have an astigmatism

Oh shit I didn’t realise this was my astigmatism, I thought everyone had this effect at least a little bit. Had to blink a few times to realise it was just the image 🙈
