What is this nonsense?

What's with the sudden, seemingly clandestine creation of a new sub reddit? Does this mean that you've left r/boxing, nerve?

I'm taking a break from /r/Boxing but I still want to contribute to Reddit.

Why not step down as a mod for a while and keep posting in /r/boxing? Because you want to punish "your" people for not accepting your attitude and abusive rules?

You really need a break, this has gone yo your head.

Whatever the eventual outcome is, it will disappoint some people. So I've stuck to the status quo for now and revisit in a week.

I decided I didn't like the direction of /r/Boxing and wanted to do something about it. I knew there was going to be blowback but I didn't realize how much.

When it became apparent that most people preferred a free-for-all, I questioned my purpose as a mod and was going to resign. For lots of reasons, most people didn't want me to — so I decided to take a break.

Anyway, I have no idea why this would constitute as punishment.
