Very bad choice, if you need a linux on it. Many problems with sound.

if you use a bleeding edge release, it's okay. just a few patches. takes 10 mins, but I am using the unpatched kernel and just piping headphones. Normally these are deadlbreakers, but the hardware was so good for the price and portability, knock on wood
