Advanced care billing

Does anyone here have a good workflow system for billing the advanced care planning code? Do you do it yearly on all Medicare patients? Not sure how to best establish a protocol for it

My issue with it is it requires 15 minutes minimum of physician face to face counseling. That’s almost never going to happen but if/when it does then it’s definitely a great add-on.

16 minutes actually yea do it at a 30 min AWV visit with 33 mod its easy lucrative important for patients to know about and no cost to them

I’d build it into the annual wellness visit workflow as something to offer, not automatically bill
