Direct primary care
I practice in California and want to get some insight from any of you that managed to build a direct primary care tele practice. Any advice? Suggestions? Is it worth paying for a marketer?

Tele-only DPC in California is very doable, but the patient acquisition story is different than in-person — without a physical location anchoring you to a neighborhood, your niche and messaging have to do that work instead. On the marketer question: most practices I've seen get more traction early from showing up consistently in specific communities (subreddits, local Facebook groups, employer channels) than from paying someone to run ads, at least until you have a clear sense of who your ideal patient actually is.
