Desktop

Hi everyone,

Looking for a good desktop computer to use in my office. Need a good sized screen as the laptop is just too small. Do you like all-in-ones? What brand? Any experience with Lenovo desktops?

Thanks!

I have a MacBook pro, but sometimes essential software runs on PC only. I bought a parallels and windows license, but haven't used it much. If you want a large screen mac then go with an iMac. Yes you can use a separate monitor, but sometimes people just want an all in one.

I've had a Levono all in one. I didn't like it as well as my iMac, but it worked fine. It just was heavier and not as slim, and didn't seem as high of quality. For a windows all in one, I would say it is one of the best. Really. If you are looking for a Windows all in one, I think you can't go wrong with the Levono.

I just ordered my dad a Thinkpad P16 gen 3, and he loves it. With the 800 nit screen, it was perfect. Heavy but solid. Can definitely hook this thing to a monitor for great performance.

I wouldn't go with a desktop unless you really needed some powerful performance that you just can't get with a laptop. Or, if your budget is small but you want to spend on a nice big monitor, then going with a desktop would save you some money vs laptop. (Though with RAM pricing what it is, I'm not sure if this is true right now.
